Activate

Once, on one computer. Every other computer sorts itself out.

Your key

It arrived by email after payment and looks like this:

KL-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

If it is not in your inbox, look in spam — and if it is not there either, write to hello@usekeyline.com from the address you paid with and we will resend it.

Activating

  1. Open Keyline in Figma.
  2. Scroll to Licence.
  3. Paste the key and press Activate.

Capitals, spaces and missing hyphens are all fine — the field tidies what you type.

Your other computers

Nothing to do. A licence is bound to your Figma account, not to a machine, so Keyline recognises you the moment you open it anywhere you are signed in.

Moving it to a different Figma account

From your licence page, once every seven days. The wait is there so that a seat is a seat.

When it does not work

“Sign in to Figma”A licence attaches to a Figma account, so Figma needs to know who you are. Sign in and reopen the plugin.
“That key was not accepted”Check for a typo. The alphabet has no I, L, O or U, so a character that looks like one is a 1 or a 0.
“Belongs to a different account”The key is already bound to another Figma account. Transfer it from your licence page.
“Could not reach the licence server”If you have activated before, ignore it — Keyline keeps working for a fortnight without us and refreshes on its own. If this is a first activation, try again when you are online.

What activation sends

Your key and your Figma user id. Nothing else, ever — the detail is here.
