Free to install. The free tier is real.
Four of the ten pages are free for good, on any number of brands. A subscription adds the six that set out rules, and the export.
Install it and keep it. No trial clock on this part.

What the line is drawn on
Free gives you the assets. Paid gives you the rules — the pages that decide what is allowed, and the export that hands it all over.

Before you buy
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing you have made is touched. Your settings, your logo slots and every page you have generated stay where they are, in your file. What pauses is generating the paid pages and running new exports — and everything you already exported is yours, with no restriction, including for client work you charge for.
Is anything watermarked?
No. Not on the free tier, not during the free run, not anywhere. A guideline with our name on it would be a guideline you could not hand to a client, which would make the free tier a demo rather than a tier.
One seat means what, exactly?
One Figma account, on as many computers as you like. The licence is bound to the account rather than the machine, so working from a laptop and a desktop is one seat, not two.
Can I move a seat to someone else?
Yes, from your licence page, once every seven days. The wait is there so that a seat is a seat and not a rota.
Why annual only?
Because the work is annual. A brand guideline is not a thing you do every week, and a monthly price would mean most people paying for eleven months they did not use, or subscribing and cancelling around a single project. A year is the honest unit.
How do I get my key?
It is shown on screen the moment the payment clears, and emailed to the address you paid with. If you lose both, write to hello@usekeyline.com from that address and we will send it again.
Can I get a refund?
Within fourteen days, for any reason, no questions. After that, if Keyline is not doing what the site says it does, tell us. The full refund policy is short.
